This is Some Guy Named Mike’s cigar review page so that he can post reviews of the cigars he’s smoked & share some of the deals he’s adding to his stash. This is both to share his experience with other B(S)OTL and to remind himself of what he likes/dislikes (there are a lot of cigars out there….. and his memory is only so good… especially when drinking).

Now Some Guy Named Mike does not claim to be a cigar aficionado, but rather a cigar newbie, at least at this point in time. He hadn’t really started smoking cigars until about September of 2009 and it was the Graycliff Gran Cru (Purple Label) that really turned him on to cigar smoking. Most of the cigars he smokes are smoked on the weeknights/weekends – with friends or his wife for company – and many of these cigars are smoked at least partially intoxicated, so please take all reviews with at least a grain or two of salt. Some will be extremely detailed, others will be short, depending on his mood. His unsophisticated palate, inexperience, and state during smoking may taint some views, however, this is just a regular Joe’s account of the sticks he smokes and his excitement over the deals he scores and sticks he receives in the mail.
